Mishka has just released a lookbook for their Fall 2009 collection, "Born Under a Bad Sign". Both the photography and the Fall line look really great...
"This Fall, we focused on items inspired by the great outdoors and quintessential American classics. The line boasts a broader range of fabrics, tailored cuts and a healthy mix of subdued hues and our trademark colors perpetually remaining true to Mishka sensibilities. Think of it as if the Brooklyn denizens went on a camping trip in Oregon.Cut and sew is a mainstay this Fall with flagship pieces such as The Mariner Pea Coat, Evergreen Hunter Work Coat and the Mephisto Leather Motor Cycle Jacket. Flannels like the Hudson Plaid shirt and the Loveless Plaid shirts are at the core of fall 09 collection. Complimenting this, simple and streamlined jackets like the Pillbox Blazer and sharp dress shirts like the Undertone Chambray add a level of whimsical maturity. No collection would be complete without a stalwart selection of denim including the Boris skinny and the Alexei. And a Mishka collection wouldn’t be complete without a standard capsule t-shirt line aptly titled Born Under a Bad Sign, which features twelve tees illustrating the twelve zodiac signs, each represented by select Mishka artists. The Fall 09 collection will be available in-store at 350 on Friday August
I first saw these dunks on sneaker news as apart of Fall 2009 dunk preview but now they give a better look at the Tie-Dye pack of the collection. Ladies in search of some eye-catching kicks can find all three pairs now at grip.
Nike will have some nice boot solutions in store for the fall with three stylish new looks and colorways. The Foamposite Boot will be back in a new black on black colorway, providing a winterized boot version of the classic basketball model. The Air Zoom Tallac Lite ACG tech boot, which first showed earlier this year, returns in a simple black/dark grey color scheme with metallic silver accents. Rounding out the group is the Rongbuk Mid GTX, an ACG hiking boot that first showed up a few months back as a low model. The Rongbuk sports a black/dark grey upper with light blue highlights and some yellow contrast stitching. If you like something you see here, be advised that all three models will be hitting stores in September and October. Stay tuned for specific release details and keep reading for some up-close looks at all three.
